I am an experienced Expert Witness specialising in personal transport needs. I have extensive experience in assessment and the recommendation of personal transport related mobility solutions for the disabled. I do not sell or hire vehicles to Claimants so there is no conflict of interest.
In January 2011, I opened The Driving Consultancy and provide Expert Witness services in the area of personal transportation for the disabled.

As a former registered Driving Instructor and Assessor for both DVLA Medical Branch and Motability, I can provide an exceptional and unique level of reporting for claimants needs.
Expert Witness reports
Part 35 reports for the claimant or defendant. Clear, accurate and concise. Comparative costings are provided as standard.
Training courses
Specialist training for occupational therapists and other professionals who assess disabled drivers and passengers who use wheelchairs.
Motorbike and trike assessments
Combined motorcycle, trike and vehicle assessments. Reports cover adaptations, sidecars, trikes and quads.

I serve for either the claimant or defendant and specialise in reports on the conversion and adaptation of vehicles for disabled drivers and passengers, including children.

Advice on the best vehicle type and adaptations such as wet rooms, profiling beds and wide access entry doors.
Vehicle costings and replacement schedules
Recommendations and costings for both the vehicle and any adaptations required.

Expert Witness Training: Assessing and Reporting on Wheelchair Accessible Vehicles
Specialist courses for occupational therapists, case managers and mobility professionals who assess disabled drivers and passengers who use wheelchairs. Every participant receives a certificate of completion towards their CPD hours.

I worked for the Mobility Centres from 2007 to 2010. I regularly attend seminars, open-day training and refresher courses to ensure that my knowledge and ability is up to date.
